Quiet...meditating...

Character history:

Raven was born to Arella Roth, After she was tricked into being the mate of the High demon Trigon the Terrible. She fled to a pocket dimension known as Azarath, where upon Raven's birth, her daughter was declared the bringer of Earth's end. Despite this, Raven was trained in Azarath's ways, possibly to try to dissaude her from actively seeking her foretold destiny (this is unknown). Raven would eventually decide to fight...or at very least make up for, her destiny, by helping people. this led her back to Earth...and eventually to the Titans.

On her 16th birthday, the villain known as Slade (aka Deathstroke the Terminator...also known to be DEAD at this time), sought her out by request of Trigon, who had promised him full revival if he helped him. He carried out Trigon's orders nearly to the letter, until raven, after much internal conflict on whether to keep fighting or not, walked into Trigon's grasp of her own accord when he truely needed her to. Slade was then betrayed by trigon at this time.

The rest of the Titans began to fight back, having survived Trigon entrance to earth thanks to raven's powers. Slade then came to them with a plan...to get both raven back...and his own body. he and Robin entered the Underworld, and split ways eventually, and Robin found Raven, who ahd been reduced to a small, scared child. Robin regained her trust and carried her back to the surface. When it seemed that Trigon was on the verge of victory, Raven decided to fight back once more, regained her powers, and singlehandely defeated her father, saving the world.

Character personality (please also include how the stress of incarceration and the Warden's interference may affect your character. We realize that character interaction may influence and change this, however, certain aspects of your character's personality may be considered constant):

Raven is an introvert due to her training/upbringing/birth/powers. She can't allow herself to feel, and this causes her to come off as cold and/or creepy. This is also helped by her sarcastic nature and her gothic style of living (her room...which NO ONE without permission is allowed to enter...is covered in dark fabrics, black paint and many bookshelves, adorned with gothic statues and her books). This,by no means, howver, means she wants to be without friends. In fact, she helps keep the team together by (attempting at the very least) to be the voice of reason, and doesn't immediately shun people (Unless its Beast Boy...he's a special case...it took her MONTHS to even get used to being anywhere near him).

Physical description:

Raven is pale-skinned and thin...but by no means weak. She is average strength for a girl her age. She wears a blue-black hood/cloak, buttoned with a ruby brooch. She wears a leotard of the same color with a gold ringed belt. She also has a red chakra marking on her forehead (for meditation purposes)

Magical powers or special skills: (Please indicate which powers/skills are natural/born with talent and which are learned. If the powers are a mixture of both, please indicate and explain. IE: Harry Potter has natural magical powers, but cannot control/use spells without being taught).

Raven's powers are empathic in nature: the more she feels, the more powers she can unleash. She uses this for levitation (which can often be mistaken for flight), telekenesis, telepathy, and other magical spells (seals, curses, shields and blasts...though she has to be taught them first)
